A remote control is an electronic device used for the remote operation of a machine.

•    Remote controls are used to control anything from televisions to radios to computers, curtain and heaters.
•    Remote controls are normally small wireless handheld objects with a array of buttons which are used to adjust the settings of an object for example it is used on an electronic heater to adjust the heat.
•    Most of electrical products on the market have a remote and the remote has more buttons for adjusting the settings of the products then the actual product that carries out the activity.
•    Most remote function using infrared signals and a few via radio signals.
•    Most remotes are usually powered using small AAA or AA size batteries.
•    One of the fist remotes was developed in 1898 by nikola Tesla.
